The Blind Side, Homeless Issues and Racism

My husband and I are very, very different.  After 26 years together sometimes I wonder what in the world do we have in common besides our daughter?  One thing, however, that we do love to do together is go to movies  :)     Recently, we shared a movie experience that was so moving.  The Blind Side combines the world of football with a poignant story about the homeless and disenfranchised.  This movie stirred within my heart such hope for addressing the issue of race and poverty -- one person at a time.  I have now seen this movie twice in just one week !   This Christmas give yourself the gift of one of the best movies in a very long time:   go see "The Blind Side":     http://www.theblindsidemovie.com/

  1. Thanks for this tip Beth.
I am always looking for good movies and I love Sandra Bullock, whom I think is in it.

Thanks too for putting my book on you Shelfari.
I do need to fix me a shelf of my own. Sounds kind of like a title for a new book: A SHELF OF MY OWN.
